We were established in November 2015 in the beautiful city of SVIT. The vast majority of us had never drummed, so it took us about 18 months to put together our first songs. We realized that drumming is a lot of fun and brings joy not only to us but also the people around us. So, it was time to choose the official name of the band. Since we strive to make our drum show very striking, energetic and to make the hearts of every spectator pound, we decided on the Portuguese word BATIDA, which in Slovak means HIT or BEAT. There were five of us at the birth of our band, and since then we have only grown, as evidenced by the fact that there are currently fifteen of us. During the entire period of our operation, you could have see us at more than 500 events throughout Slovakia, Czech Republic and abroad.
